Q: Is Hyundai Elentra a good car to buy?
I had a camry which is totally wrecked in an accident and i dont haev much money for a new camry..
I am thinking to buy a cheap but good car -
please advise me on hyundai elentra or if you have any links for its reviews.
A: I love my Elantra. still haven’t had a problem with it and it’s a 98. A few years back Hyundai had a bad rep.. but they’ve really picked it up since then. Now, I hear their customer service and warranties are the best around.

Q: My 2003 hyundai elentra door handle won’t open the door from the inside and suggestions?
I tried to open the door on my hyudai elentra and it wouldn’t open the door from the inside. It opens from the outside but I have to get out of the passenger door. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
A: The cable connecting the inside door handle to the latch is broken. Typical in Elantra and Tiburon. I just ad an Elantra this week with the same symptoms and found the cable broken. You can find it at dealer for under $ 20.00 To replace it, you have to remove the door panel.

Q: What is more reliable: Chrysler sebring lx or a Hyundai elentra?
Sebring lx year 2001, and elantra year 2002. This is my first car too, there’s no serious problems with each car, thanks for your opinions.
A: The Chrysler Sebring’s reliability rating is abysmal. It’s a money pit. Late model Hyundais are not as bad, but in 2002 they were still rather mediocre. Any Nissan, Toyota or Honda is a better choice.
Q: My 2003 Hyundai Elentra has keyless entry, but when I open the door with the key the alarm will sound, why?
The door is defiantly unlocked. I am stumped.
A: If you’re locking the car with remote, the alarm gets automatically activated. To deactivate, you’ll have to use the remote when unlocking. This will confirm you are back to the car and deactivate the time alarm module. By using the key to unlock the door you don’t confirm the communication with the module to indicate you are the right person and triggers the alarm to go off. To shut alarm OFF you must use remote, correct? Its just a safety future that comes with most of the cars now days (not only Hyundai’s).
Q: in ref to the 97 hyundai elentra he replaced the alternator charged the battery for a few hours and the car?
still wont start could it be other problems besides the battery?
A: Lots of things, solenoid, starter replay, starter etc etc

Q: i have a 2002 hyundai elentra gt and i want to change the handbrake on it?
do i have to go under the car to do this or can it be done through the interior? and also does anyone know any sites were i can find instructions for this.
A: You can access everything from inside.
1) Remove the console cover for access to the bolts holding the lever in place.
2) Mark the location of the adjusting nut (toward the back of the lever assembly) before removing as this nut provides the tension/slack for the cables.
2) Loosen the adjusting nut.
3) Detach the cables. They are attached to a metal plate and should just slide off after the nut is removed.
4) Detach the parking brake switch assembly.
5) Remove the lever assembly.
Installation is the reverse.

A: Have you considered the battery? I’ve got the same car, and the battery went out a couple of weeks ago. Try to get it jump started, and drive it to Auto Zone, they will check the battery for free. FYI, the AZ here did carry the right battery, but they wouldn’t install it, so I got it at Sears. It was $125 including installation and hooking it up to the machine. The dealer would have charged that much just for the battery and additional to install it. If it’s not the battery, it should still be under warranty, get it towed to the dealer. The warranty should cover the tow as well.

there is suppose to be a little sticker under the hood showing it meets us spec emissions but I can’t find it. HELP!!!!
A: If the sticker is missing give a Hyundai dealer your VIN and they will get you a copy.
Q: What is the music on 2007 Hyundai Elentra Commercial?
A: It sounds somewhat similar to Manu Chao’s “Bongo Bong” but the song featured appears to be some kind of remix. Or perhaps its some kind of knock off made specifically for the commercial, sounds cool nevertheless.

A: Best bet is to go to Autozone/CAP/Advance Auto and buy the Haynes Repair Manual, it will tell you everything you wanted to know about your car and more! Also, autozone.com may have a free online repair manual for your car. Search and you will find!
Also, did you snap/strech the cable? did you check the caliper/drum to see if it was stuck/broken? Before you attempt a PITA job check the basics (not to sound like an ass but I have done jobs on my car that didn’t need to be done).

which one will i get? well on the website, the hyundai elentra is the best in its class, aboce the civic and corolla, does anyone owns elentra? the new one 2007 and i was shocked that hyudai landed on #3 spot, just behind porsche and lexus and beat every other car make, includes bmw, benz, toyota etc

A: are you buying for resale or cost? any car today you are paying almost double and by the time you pay it off and the mileage put on it what you owe no car is worth much for a trade in.I have a Hyundai elantra 2005 & had some minor problems i took it back to the dealer & they fixed it. It cost me 0 i have a 100,000 mile warranty . how many car companies offer that? not saying honda’s aren’t good cars but how much is it worth by the time you pay it off? trade it in & see what you will get for it. good luck it can be very confusing.
